Lookers has officially opened a new Geely dealership in Leeds, its first with the Chinese carmaker.
The investment follows the debut of the Geely electric vehicle (EV) brand in the UK last year, which includes the recently introduced Starray EM-I and the Geely EX5, an all-electric SUV delivering up to 267 miles on a single charge.
Located on York Road inside an existing Lookers dealership, Geely represents another growth milestone by Lookers in Leeds since it established its first base in the city in the 1960s.
Lookers’ operations director Dave Graham said: “Future-focused and future-proofed, the new Geely brand delivers real choice and value for customers keen to take their first or next step on a more sustainable driving future and we’re delighted to be the first dealership in Leeds to make that choice available to customers in the city and wider area.
