London EV Company (LEVC) has named Tony Chi (pictured) as acting CEO.

Chi replaces Alex Nan who continues his role as chairman while taking on a broader scope of activity within the Geely International business.

Chi brings over 20 years of leadership experience within the Geely Group, with a strong track record in overseas operations.

Chi will be supported in his role by former LEVC manufacturing director, Lee Boyce, who is stepping into the newly created general manager role.

Chris Allen, LEVC managing director, will step down from his role as part of the changes. He said: “Leading this business has been a deeply rewarding experience for me personally.

“Together with a fantastic team, we have worked hard to build a strong and stable foundation, deliver against our targets and prepare the company for the next phase of growth.

“Tony brings a wealth of experience and I have no doubt he and the team will take the business forward with renewed focus and clarity as it prepares for the next steps.”
