International Motors has appointed Jonny Miller to the new position of sales director (passenger cars) UK & Ireland.
Miller takes responsibility for all aspects of sales operations for XPeng UK and Subaru UK & Ireland.
He began his automotive career with Fiat Group Automotives UK, with several roles in used car sales, before transitioning to head of manufacturer sales at Glass’s Information Services.
He later joined Volvo Car UK, where he held roles in leasing and residual values, before being appointed head of sales at Polestar.
Miller then joined Genesis UK as head of sales, before being appointed brand director.
Lorraine Bishton, managing director for passenger car brands at International Motors, said, “We are pleased to have Jonny on board and heading our sales operations.
“XPeng is a new brand in the market, and we are currently in an exciting phase of development as the brand establishes itself in the UK.
Jonny’s valuable experience, particularly with emerging EV brands, will further strengthen our team and sales business.”
On discussing his new role, Jonny commented, “XPENG is an exciting new brand, focused on next-generation technology. With new retailers and new vehicle launches on the horizon, XPENG is set to continue with its expansion in the UK. The automotive landscape is in a fascinating and fast-paced period of change and leading the sales direction for XPENG and Subaru will be exciting.”
