IMI announces shortlist for Annual Awards

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) has announced the shortlist for its Annual Awards. Winners will be announced at the IMI Annual Dinner held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane on 12 March.

Winners of The President’s Award, the FMI Bursary, the Sue Brownson Award, the IMI Bursary, and the Inspiring Automotive Woman of the Year Award will be announced at the event.

The shortlist for Apprentice of the year is as follows: Adam Culverhouse (Sytner), Becky Pearce (BMW), and Harriette Drysdale (Vertu BMW & MINI Teesside).

For Learner of the Year, the IMI listed Corey Spence (Grŵp Colegau), Jacob Fish (Bridgwater and Taunton College), and Matthew Flanders (New College Lanarkshire).

The IMI named Mission Motorsport, Solus, and Volkswagen Group UK as contenders for the EDI Award.

Autotech Group, Morelli, Toyota GB and Lexus are in the running for Partner of the Year.

The Contribution to the Work of the IMI category shortlist includes Carolyn Bundey (senior manager Strategic Projects) of the Academy, Toyota (GB), Nigel Morgan (managing consultant) at AAM Consulting, and Northgate Technical Training Academy.

The final shortlist named Al-Futtaim (United Arab Emirates), Karwa Academy (Qatar), and Valeo Training Centre (Europe) for the International Partner Award.

Erin Baker, editorial director at Auto Trader, will be hosting this year’s Annual Dinner.
