Polestar has teamed up with Holden Group in Bury St Edmunds to open a used car centre or pre-owned Space.
The ‘pre-owned Space’ will give customers in East Anglia greater access to Polestar’s electric vehicles.
Polestar said East Anglia represents a growing market for electric vehicles.
New figures from West Suffolk Council reveal there are currently 82 council-owned electric car charging points in West Suffolk, six of which are 50kW chargers, with demands from local residents for more public electric car charging points in the area.
“To expand the network further, Suffolk County Council have plans to introduce up to 6,000 new on-street charge points by 2030 to meet growing demands for EV infrastructure.
The new pre-owned Space will focus purely on fully checked and prepped pre-owned Polestars.
Matt Galvin, Managing Director of Polestar UK, said: We’re excited to bring more pre-owned Polestar’s to East Anglia and make our cars even more accessible across the region.
“It means that customers in the area have a real conscious choice without sacrifice when it comes to running an EV, at a more accessible entry point.
Tim Holden, Holden Group CEO said: “Partnering with Polestar to launch this new pre-owned Space is an important step in strengthening EV accessibility across East Anglia.
“As a family business with deep roots in the region, we’re proud to help make premium electric vehicles more attainable for local drivers, while supporting the area’s wider sustainability ambitions.”
Every pre-owned Polestar features an extensive 112-point check, a 24-month warranty and roadside assistance, and the remainder of the 8-year* battery warranty offered.
All pre-owned Polestar 2s now undergo a battery state-of-health check, transparently presented to customers before their purchase.
