Evans Halshaw will represent Omoda, Jaecoo and Chery from this month.
Chery new car sales operations will open at Evans Halshaw Ford Bedford alongside the existing Ford business. Omoda & Jaecoo new car sales operations will open at Evans Halshaw Ford Blackburn today alongside the existing Ford new car sales showroom.
Adam Fletcher, Group Vice President at Evans Halshaw, said: “The Jaecoo J7 and Omoda 9 have proven to be particularly popular with British motorists over the last six months, so we are expecting to have plenty of interest in these particular models.
“Our four new retail sales operations will enable us to bring Chery, Omoda and Jaecoo’s exciting electric and hybrid vehicle ranges to new customers and to those who are exploring making the switch to hybrid / electric vehicles in Bedford, Gainsborough, Blackburn and Chorley.
“We are looking forward to welcoming customers through our doors after the festive period and starting 2026 off with the excitement that these brands bring.”
At Evans Halshaw Chorley, the current Ford showroom will be converted into a Chery new car showroom. Ford servicing requirement will continue to be provided at Chorley.
At Evans Halshaw Ford Gainsborough, Omoda & Jaecoo new cars will be available from early January, while full Ford aftersales support will be retained.
From January, the stores will provide vehicle sales and test drive opportunities, with servicing and full aftersales support scheduled to commence in early 2026.
Evans Halshaw is retaining all current colleagues across sales and aftersales and has hinted that further store openings under the Omoda, Jaecoo and Chery mark will follow in Q1 2026.
