Eastern Western Motor Group has been awarded the Skoda franchise for Edinburgh (East).

The business will trade initially from a temporary accommodation but on the actual site it will be trading from when building works are complete, later in 2026.

“We have always regarded Skoda as a superb (no pun intended) brand. It has always managed to combine ‘great value, high quality, innovative technology and always seemed to put the customer squarely at the heart of the brand. It has always felt ‘human’ and we are cock-a-hoop to be adding it to our portfolio,” said Keith Duncan, group managing director at Eastern Western.

“Our business will trade from Whitehill Road, Fort Kinnaird, recognised in Edinburgh as home to some of the world’s best brands.

“My colleagues Graham Affleck, Divisional Managing Director and Franchise Principal Derek Duguid have started to piece together a team from scratch, so now is the time to get your hand in the air if you fancy joining a brilliant brand and Eastern Western Motor Group at a brilliant, luxury motor retailing destination in East Edinburgh.

“We need the full gamut of positions. Whatever you’re doing, chances are we need you!

Our temporary site will be up and running in April 2026! Nothing like giving yourself a challenge to get a new brand up and running in six weeks. That will beat our previous best of seven weeks,” he said.
