Drive Motor Retail’s MG site in Leicester has expanded its partnership with local race team, Sharpe Racing, becoming the headline sponsor of the entire team.
This sponsorship will see Drive branding featured across team vehicles and official team wear.
The partnership builds upon the collaboration which started in 2023 with MG ZR racer Chase Sharpe, who is a member of the Sharpe Racing team who has competed in karting and MG racing.
Drive Motor Retail has 25 dealerships all around the UK, eight of which are MG-approved franchises.
Sharpe Racing said: “Drive MG are a local company, with core family values that align with ours. Since day one, we understood each other, the common goal of both companies.#
“We are already testing before the 2025 season, and we are very much looking forward to having them by our sides.”

Drive Motor Retail has a turnover of approximately £400m per annum, employing 800 staff.
