Dealers kicked of the March 1 plate-change sales period aiming to raise awareness posting on LinkedInb.

“It’s beginning to feel a lot like ….. March 1st! I love this time of the year…. The anticipation of the first day of a big month is genuinely building ….and all those 26 plates dreams will soon be arriving on drive ways,” said Waylands Automotive CEO John O’ Hanlon.

Swansway said: Huge congratulations to all our guests who drove away in their stunning new 26-plate Ford today.”

Daniel Cox, Volvo sales manager, Bells Motor Group Bedford, said: “1st March in the motor trade! There’s nothing quite like plate-change day.

“The build-up, the preparation behind the scenes, and then finally handing over those brand new 26 plate cars to our fantastic customers.”

Matt Roscow, sales leader at Evans Halshaw, said: “I couldn’t be prouder of my team today! March 1st marked our very first plate change day with Omoda & Jaecoo, and what a way to kick things off.

“Seeing our customers drive away in their brand new Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles made all the hard work worthwhile.

“From preparation to handovers, the team delivered a seamless, professional, and genuinely exciting experience for every customer. First plate change days always bring pressure, but everyone stepped up, supported each other, and absolutely smashed it. New brand. New plates. New chapter.”

Chris Coughlan, head of business, Guildford, posted: “A great morning spent at Guildford Audi, saying my personal “Thank You” to all of our 26 plate handovers.

Always good to see so many driving away simultaneously with big smiles on their faces. We really do have some phenomenal products to offer (personal favourite of the morning was this stunning RSQ8 Carbon Performance Vorsprung ????)
