Close Brothers Motor Finance is marking International Women’s Day 2026 with a team wide charity drive aimed at helping the homeless in Dublin and beyond.

The team partnered with Dublin based charity Feed Our Homeless, a volunteer-led outreach initiative providing vital support for some of the city’s most vulnerable people.

Stacey O’Connor, Head of Marketing at Close Brothers Motor Finance, said: “Recent estimates indicate there are as many as four thousand women across the country who are struggling with housing. Whether that means ‘sofa surfing’ with friends and family or spending cold nights on the streets, this can take a huge toll on women’s physical and mental well-being.

“Alongside providing immediate support in terms of food, shelter and advice, Feed our Homeless recognises the vital role that re-integrating homeless women into the workforce plays in securing a better future for them.

“Workwear and clothing is key to this and we’re proud to be supporting Feed our Homeless this International Women’s Day and grateful for the generosity of our colleagues in Dublin and the UK.”

One of Feed Our Homeless’s core services, alongside providing vital shelter and food, is reintegration, helping people gain confidence, skills and re-enter the workforce.

Close Brothers Motor Finance has placed clothing donation points around the Dublin office.

Natasha Morgan, at Feed Our Homeless said: “In 2024 alone, our team recorded more than 26,000 interactions with people sleeping rough in Dublin and beyond, not to mention the thousands of individuals and families we support who are struggling with cost of living and other pressure who we support with food hampers and advocacy.

“The work we do wouldn’t be possible without the support of the community and businesses across Dublin. Finding a route back to work is crucial when it comes to helping people off the streets, and good quality work wear can make all the difference when it comes to giving people back the confidence they need to succeed.”
