BYD has confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the Atto 3 Evo, starting from £38,990, a step up in price on the outgoing model.
BYD said the new model has a refreshed exterior design and more streamlined interior.
It gets more power, a bigger battery, longer range, faster charging, improved practicality and increased standard equipment within a simplified trim structure.
The new Atto 3 Evo is available in two trim levels. The Design, priced at £38,990 and the Excellence at £42,730.
Both range and charging have been significantly improved over the ATTO 3 which launched in 2023. BYD’s lithium iron-phosphate (LFP) Blade Battery offers a capacity of 74.8kWh, allowing for a WLTP range of up to 316 miles.
The Atto 3 Evo’s charging speeds are said to have doubled compared to its predecessor; a 220kW maximum rate means that a 10% to 80% charge takes just 25 minutes.
As with the rest of the BYD lineup, the Atto 3 Evo is backed up by a six-year, 93,750-mile warranty, plus a battery cover of up to eight years or 155,350 miles.
