Today, on International Men’s Day, Ben is launching its new ‘Men’s Health Awareness’ training.
The training will provide employees with a better understanding of the health challenges that affect men’s physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Julie Hayes, Specialist Services Lead at Ben, said: “It’s vital to be driving awareness and strengthening men’s health and wellbeing across the industry.
“Too often, common health and wellbeing concerns go unspoken – and that silence can have a serious impact.
“This training gives everyone the tools and resources to improve men’s health and wellbeing across the industry.”
Course benefits include insights into health challenges and risks, strategies to build resilience, skills and confidence to support with better managing men’s health, a clear understanding of personal wellbeing, knowledge to recognise, support and empower men’s health, how to hold supportive conversations, and useful resources.
The training is offered face-to-face or virtually. Any profits generated from BenTraining bookings go back into Ben’s mission of providing free, confidential health and wellbeing support.
Over 99% of Ben’s recent survey respondents were personally affected by a health & wellbeing issue.
Hayes said: “We are deeply committed to supporting everyone in the automotive industry, in all roles and life stages. With our expertise built over the past 120 years, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver training that helps automotive people genuinely thrive in their work and home lives.
“We believe that empowering our automotive family to prioritise their health and wellbeing builds stronger, more resilient teams. This new training is part of a programme of new product development which we will be launching to the industry.
“We’re eager to partner with employers to support their employees so they feel valued, connected and confident to bring their best selves to work and beyond. We’re looking forward to working closely with many more automotive employers as a trusted training partner.”
