Arnold Clark Charge, the ultra-rapid EV charging network has struck a new roaming partnership deal with Paua, the EV charging payment platform for business drivers.
This partnership strengthens Arnold Clark Charge’s commitment to making public charging as seamless and accessible as possible for all electric vehicle (EV) users.
Paua’s platform is purpose-built for fleet and business users, offering access to over 65,000 public charge point connectors across the UK through a single card or app.
The addition of Paua to Arnold Clark Charge’s list of roaming partners means even more EV drivers can access and pay for charging using their preferred platform.
Arnold Clark Charge now has 50 ultra-rapid charging hubs at Arnold Clark branches nationwide, all of which are open to the public.
Each hub features up to 12 ultra-rapid chargers, capable of delivering charging speeds of up to 150kW.
Russell Borrie, chief executive Officer at Arnold Clark, said: “We’re committed to investing in the future of the automotive industry and making electric vehicle charging accessible to everyone.
“With electric vehicles becoming increasingly popular, it’s essential that our charging infrastructure keeps pace with rising demand.
“That’s why we’ve made significant investments in our own UK-wide, bookable ultra-rapid charging network, Arnold Clark Charge.
“These new charging hubs are designed to provide the public with convenient, reliable, and cost-effective charging solutions while they’re on the move.”
Pablo Levi, group sustainability manager at Arnold Clark, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Paua to the Arnold Clark Charge family, allowing us to provide EV drivers with even greater options.
“We want to support UK business drivers transitioning to EVs by offering a smooth payment experience.”
