Arnold Clark Charge celebrates opening 60th charging site in the UK by opening new public ultra-rapid electric vehicle chargers in Wolverhampton

Arnold Clark Charge has expanded its public charging network with the launch of six new ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) chargers at its Wolverhampton Motorstore.

This marking a major milestone as the network reaches its 60th charging site across the UK.

The ultra-rapid chargers are part of the Group’s ongoing investment in EV infrastructure, designed to make charging more accessible, affordable and convenient for drivers nationwide.

The Wolverhampton site, which is open to all, will support both local EV users and those travelling longer distances through the region.

Arnold Clark said drivers using the charging hub will benefit from one of the most competitive ultra-rapid charging rates in the market, priced at just 55p per kWh – significantly lower than the current UK average of 76p per kWh.

As Arnold Clark Charge continues its UK-wide expansion, the network is being rolled out in strategic locations to respond to growing demand for dependable, high-speed charging.

The ultra-rapid chargers allow drivers to quickly top up their vehicles, minimising downtime and making electric travel more practical for everyday use.
