Allianz reappointed as roadside assistance provider for Volvo

Allianz Partners UK has been reappointed as Volvo Car UK’s roadside assistance provider, extending its partnership for a further three years.

Allianz Partners UK has been Volvo Car UK’s partner of choice since 2010. During this period, to help support the inroads the brand has made into the electric vehicle market, Allianz has developed a premium service for Volvo customers.

This includes deploying Volvo’s own diagnostic toolkit at the roadside plus retaining specialist Volvo technicians as part of the roadside assistance team.

The customer journey is fully flexible, with customers able to report breakdowns or incidents by phone or digitally via the Allianz Assistance hub.

This flexibility extends to vehicle replacement services – Allianz will provide alternative mobility options where appropriate, including taxi services and eco-friendly options such as EVs and electric bikes.

Allianz Partners is set to continue its collaboration with Volvo Car UK by offering three key programmes, including the Service Activated Roadside Assistance (SARA) feature. This initiative ensures that Volvo customers who service their vehicles at registered retailers receive a year’s roadside assistance protection.
