Chris Whittaker, chief people and administration Officer at Lookers ha announced his departure form the company. He made the move public on LinkedIn.
“After six hugely rewarding years, I’ve made the decision to leave Lookers and move on to the next chapter of my career.
“Leaving is never an easy decision after such a significant period of professional life, but I believe the right time to move on is when you’ve delivered what you set out to achieve. I leave feeling incredibly proud of what I’ve accomplished and excited about what lies ahead.
“My time at Lookers has been defined by transformation, challenge, growth, and above all, people. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some exceptional colleagues, and together we’ve achieved a great deal. There have inevitably been difficult moments along the way, but those are often where the greatest leadership lessons are learned.
To everyone at Lookers, our manufacturer partners, customers and colleagues across the industry, thank you. I’m hugely grateful for the support, trust and friendships along the way. I’ll look back on my six years with genuine affection and pride.
Whittaker said he was now looking ahead to seen what the future brought.
“Now it’s time for the next chapter. I’m beginning the search for my next opportunity and am excited to explore where I can make the greatest impact next. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience, leadership and commercial focus to a new challenge, working with great people to build successful businesses and deliver sustainable growth.”
