Snows Motor Group has begun construction work on a Toyota and Lexus dealership in Poole.
Its launch will see staff transfer from Snows’ existing Toyota and Lexus sites in West Quay Road, with the new operation becoming a Toyota and Lexus hub for customers across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
Aftersales services will continue to be provided at Snows’ workshops in Lyon Road.
The building has been designed to maximise environmental efficiency and sustainability.
Recycled stone and clay will be used in its construction and the roof will be clad in solar panels.
Ceiling heights will be lower than those found at a typical car dealership – to minimise energy use – and no fossil fuels will be used to power or heat the building.
