The all-new smart #2 has been unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.
It combines the brand’s signature compact dimensions with forward-looking EV technology.
Louise O’Sullivan, CEO of smart UK: “The UK’s love of the original smart fortwo is well known, and the new #2 combines the pioneering spirit of that car with the advanced technology of smart’s current award-winning model range.
“By offering the best of both worlds, we’re confident that the #2 will be an even bigger hit with UK drivers than its iconic predecessor.”
The battery is a 35.8 kWh LFP unit, delivering up to 180 miles of combined range (WLTP; target value) and supporting 65 kW DC fast charging, taking it from 10% to 80% within 20 minutes.
Currently announced for the UK market are two core trim lines of the #2 – Pure and Premium – alongside a limited Couture Edition.
Pure is the starting point of the range, combining essential features with a comprehensive equipment package for urban mobility.
Premium builds on the foundation of the smart #2 Pure with 11 kW AC charging and a heated driver’s seat.
Couture is limited to 999 units in Europe. It features Atelier White Matte exterior paint with a Platinum Gold roof, complemented by 16″ Lyra rims with gold details.
Full UK pricing for the smart #2 will be announced later this year, with the model set to be available from less than £20,000.
Pre-orders are set to commence from Spring 2027.
