Arbury Motor Group has bought five Renault and Dacia dealerships from Sutton Park Group for an undisclosed sum.
The group now represents the two brands in Warwick, Birmingham, Tamworth, Burton and Stourbridge
“Today marks an incredibly exciting milestone for Arbury Group as we officially welcome five Renault & Dacia businesses from Sutton Park Group into the Arbury family,” said Arbury Motor Group MD Ben Archer, posting on LinkedIn.
“It’s been quite a journey over the last six months, and reaching this point has taken an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.
“Firstly, a huge thank you to Team Arbury. You know who you are. The long days, countless meetings, problem solving and sheer determination to get everything over the line have been incredible. I’m extremely grateful to everyone who has played a part.
“I’d also like to thank the senior team at Sutton Park Group. It has genuinely been a pleasure working with you throughout this process.
“From the outset, one of the things that made this acquisition feel right was the people. There is a great culture within these businesses and some fantastic teams, and we are really looking forward to working alongside them and building on everything that has already been achieved.
Arbury Motor Group parent Cathedral Motor Group is ranked 77 in the Motor Trader Top 200 with annual turnover of £222.3m. Sutton Park Motor Group is ranked 106 with annual turnover of £149.4m.
