Lookers has opened an Omoda and Jaecoo dealership in Battersea as the Chinese brands expand their representation across south-east England.
The dealership at 50 Lombard Road is already trading, with the first phase of its refurbishment under way and a recruitment campaign launched.
The 24,000 sq ft site spans two floors and serves a catchment area that includes Chelsea, Fulham, Wandsworth and Clapham. It will provide new car sales, servicing and aftersales support.
Customers will be able to explore the Omoda and Jaecoo ranges and book test drives at the dealership from 1 September.
Omoda launched in the UK in August 2024, followed by Jaecoo in January 2025. The brands recorded combined UK registrations of almost 62,000 during the first seven months of 2026.
The Jaecoo 7 was the UK’s fourth most popular retail car in 2025 after 11 months on sale and became the country’s best-selling car in March 2026.
Omoda and Jaecoo are part of Chery International UK, alongside Chery and Lepas. The group’s brands collectively account for around 8% of the UK new car market.
The Omoda range comprises the Omoda 5, Omoda 7 and Omoda 9, while Jaecoo offers the Jaecoo 5, Jaecoo 7 and Jaecoo 8.
Petrol, hybrid and Super Hybrid System plug-in hybrid powertrains are available. Models come with a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty and RAC roadside assistance and European cover for the duration of the warranty.

Lookers reported a 34% increase in pre-tax profit to £58.5m in 2025, while turnover rose by 1.5% to £4.4bn and new car sales increased by 9%.
The dealer group was acquired by Global Auto Holdings in 2023 and represents 38 vehicle brands across the UK and Ireland.
