ANV Group Holdings buys warranty group Car Care Plan

ANV Group Holdings, a global insurance intermediary platform, is buying warranty group Car Care Plan (CCP) from AmTrust Financial Services.

Founded in 1976, CCP provides vehicle warranties, asset protection products, and aftersales support and administration, serving more than 30 OEMs, 2,500 dealers and customers across approximately 100 countries.

The transaction includes Dent Wizard Ventures in the United Kingdom, a mobile bodywork, paint, and alloy wheel refurbishment and repair company, as well as all overseas subsidiaries of CCP.

“Car Care Plan is a best-in-class franchise with deep and long-standing OEM and dealer relationships, and differentiated underwriting, claims, and administration capabilities that are difficult to replicate,” said Adam Karkowsky, chairman and CEO of ANV.

“This acquisition is fully aligned with ANV’s strategy of partnering with MGAs in attractive markets, and it establishes a scaled platform in the warranty vertical. We’re excited to work with Ben Russell and the team to support the company’s next phase of growth.”

CCP CEO Ben Russell and the current leadership team will remain in place and CCP will continue to operate under its existing brand, with the same points of contact for OEMs, dealers, and customers.

AmTrust will remain CCP’s long-term underwriting partner, continuing to underwrite the existing books of business under a long-term capacity agreement, ensuring a seamless transition for clients and partners.
