Lepas appoints Black Horse and Lex Autolease as finance partners

Lepas has taken on Black Horse and Lex Autolease as key finance partners in the UK.

The two groups will provide a range of retail finance, leasing and wholesale funding services to the Chinese brand which is owned by Chery.

Black Horse, part of Lloyds Banking Group, will provide retail finance products including Hire Purchase (HP) and Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), alongside wholesale funding support for the LEPAS dealer network.

Lex Autolease, also part of Lloyds, will offer Personal Contract Hire (PCH), Business Contract Hire (BCH) and leasing solutions.

Black Horse will also offer finance on approved used Lepas models through the franchised dealer network as soon as they begin to come into stock.

“Securing an official finance partner ahead of our showroom launch has been a top priority for us.

“We spoke to all the leading providers and benchmarked the market and I’m very excited to be partnering with Lloyds Banking Group,” said Ray Wang, managing director of Lepas UK (pictured right)

“As one of the leading and most trusted names in motor finance, we will be able to offer our customers the widest selection of products of products from day one. This will make us even more competitive and appealing to customers as we prepare to open order books for L8 PHEV soon.”

The Lepas dealer network is under development, with 50 standalone outlets already in various stages of fitting out and construction,

By the end of 2027, Lepas aims to have increased the number of UK showrooms to 90.
