Cazoo has appointed Brook Bishop as its chief commercial officer.

Bishop joins from Motorway where he was head of commercial growth and transformation. Previously, he was chief growth officer at heycar, and strategy manager at Volkswagen Financial Services, having started his career at PwC.

He said: “Cazoo has all the ingredients of a business ready to scale – a strong reputation with dealers, an ambitious team and a new platform that’s challenging the market leader. I’m excited to join at such an important stage in the company’s growth.

“At the same time the car buying journey is evolving. AI is set to play an increasing role in vehicle searches and Cazoo has the agility to support customers and dealers through an omni-channel buying experience with new AI-powered tools and services.

“I’m looking forward to helping drive the next phase of Cazoo’s commercial growth.”

Bishop will work closely with dealer partners to deliver increased value and satisfaction, in addition to driving strategic partnerships.

Barry Judge, CEO of Cazoo, said: “Brook joins Cazoo at a decisive stage in our mission to disrupt the sector by providing car buyers and dealers with a credible alternative to the market leader.

“Having spent a decade in the automotive sector, gaining exceptional senior level marketplace and start-up experience, Brook is ideally placed to work with our dealer partners to drive more value as we accelerate our fast growth ambitions.”
