TrustFord has achieved international recognition after winning a Green World Environment Award.

The Green World Awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, independent, non-political and non-profit environmental group.

Stuart Mustoe, Chief Executive Officer of TrustFord, said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive this international recognition for the work we are doing to reduce our environmental impact.

“At TrustFord, environmental responsibility is a core part of our wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, and we are continually looking at ways to reduce emissions and improve the efficiency of our properties.

“This award is a great recognition of the progress we have made, but we know there is still more to do. We remain committed to building on this work and making positive changes across our business.”

The award recognises the Dealer Group’s ongoing work to reduce emissions across its property portfolio, with a focus on both new and existing buildings.

TrustFord have introduced a range of measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, including air source heating, solar generation, LED lighting, underfloor heating and building management system controls, alongside achieving external environmental accreditations.

The installation of photovoltaic (PV) generation at the Ford Store Dagenham and Parts Plus Distribution Centre in Thurrock helps to generate renewable energy on-site.
