Electric vehicles took four of the five places in Brego’s July Fastest Five ranking of the quickest-selling used cars.
Brego’s Fastest Five, the monthly snapshot of the quickest-selling vehicle derivatives across key market segments, showed the Audi Q4 e-tron 82kWh Quattro Sport was July’s fastest-moving used car, taking an average of 10.7 days to sell at an average sale price of £22,316.
The Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor Plus ranked third at 12.5 days to sale, followed by the Volkswagen ID.4 Life Pro Performance at 12.6 days and the CUPRA Born V2 at 12.9 days.
The only non-EV in the overall used car Fastest Five was the Volkswagen Polo 1.2 70 S, which ranked second at 11.1 days.
The July figures build on Brego’s June data, when EVs also featured strongly among the fastest-moving used cars.
The trend was even more pronounced in the three-year-old category, where every position in July’s Fastest Five was taken by an electric vehicle.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD led the three-year-old ranking at 9.9 days to sale and an average price of £23,685, followed by the Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD at 12.7 days.
Three Polestar 2 derivatives completed the top five, with average days to sale ranging from 13.1 to 14.0 days.

“Electric vehicles are now appearing consistently among the quickest-selling used cars but the important point is that performance remains highly derivative-specific. The data shows significant variation between models and derivatives. That does not mean every used EV will perform in the same way, which is why broad assumptions around fuel type can be misleading.”
