Edwards Mazda is celebrating its 50th anniversary as an established Mazda dealer in Worcester.
The dealer commemorated the milestone with a special anniversary event that brought together customers, local families and local partners.
Alison Byers, general manager at Edwards Mazda, said: “Celebrating our 50th anniversary with so many of our colleagues, customers, friends and members of the wider community was truly special.
“Reaching this milestone is a testament to the support we have received over the years and the dedication of the people who have helped shape Edwards Mazda into what it is today”.
The dealer has won multiple award wins and accolades, including most recently ‘Sales Dealer of the Year’ at the 2026 Mazda All Stars Awards.
The business remains family-run today with Adrian Edwards serving as managing director, Sandra Edwards overseeing Human Resources and Tom Edwards, who is currently undertaking an apprenticeship in Service and Parts.
Hosted by local radio station Sunshine Radio, the celebration featured local food vans, DJ, magician and a charity tombola that raised over £200 for St Richards Hospice.
Visitors enjoyed family-friendly games throughout the day, including a shoot-the-hoop challenge supported by the Worcester Wolves basketball team.
After presenting a commemorative plaque to Edwards Mazda, Jeremy Thomson, managing director at Mazda Motors UK, presented a commemorative plaque to the dealer.
He said “Reaching a 50-year milestone is a remarkable achievement, and it was a pleasure to present this commemorative plaque to Adrian and the entire Edwards Mazda team.
“While the automotive industry has evolved significantly during that time, the dedicated team at Edwards Mazda has consistently delivered exceptional service to our customers and played an important role in Mazda’s success in the UK.
“Combined with our exciting vehicle line-up that includes the all-new Mazda CX-5, Mazda6e and Mazda CX-6e later this year, the team’s drive for excellence gives us great confidence for the future.”
