The survey looked at more than 3,600 customers who had hired a vehicle over the previous two years, alongside expert analysis of each company’s pricing transparency, rental terms and conditions, website functionality and overall fairness.

It was the only UK rental provider to receive a five-star rating for the clarity of its final hire costs, helping customers avoid unexpected charges and giving them greater confidence when booking.
The Which? research highlighted wider concerns across the car hire industry, finding that hidden charges and unclear pricing remain common among many providers.
However, Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental’s five-star rating for pricing clarity reinforces the company’s commitment to transparent, fair and customer-focused service.
