Evans Halshaw dealerships are raising funds for various charities. Evans Halshaw Ford Middlesbrough (pictured) raised £1,080 for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice through Ford’s nationwide Drive For Your Community initiative.

Evans Halshaw Ford Hull will donate £30 to Chasing Rainbows for every test drive completed at a fundraising event on 30 May while Evans Halshaw Ford Blackpool will donate £30 for every test drive at its fundraiser in June to Brian House Children’s Hospice.

Stephen Weites, head of business at Evans Halshaw Ford Middlesbrough, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have supported Zoe’s Place through the Drive For Your Community initiative and to have been part of such a successful fundraising event.

“Zoe’s Place carries out extremely important work for families across the region, and it was fantastic to see so many people getting involved and helping us raise over £1,000 through the test drives alone.

“The atmosphere throughout the day was brilliant and we are proud to have contributed towards what became a record-breaking  fundraising total.”

Evans Halshaw Ford Middlesbrough completed 36 test drives during fundraising activity at the annual Zoe’s Place Charity Golf Day at Wynyard Golf Club on 7 May.

The wider event raised a record-breaking amount at the annual golf day, collecting over £23,000 for the charity.

The Evans Halshaw Ford Hull fundraising event will take place on 30 May at the Village Hotel, Henry Boot Way.

Evans Halshaw Ford Blackpool’s event will take place at Cleveleys Car Show in June.
