KGM Motors UK’s dealer partner Station Garage Torphins has launched an initiative aimed at supporting Cash for Kids across North East Scotland.
From 20 April to 30 April, Station Garage Torphins will donate £500 from every retail vehicle sold when customers mention “Cash for Kids” at the point of purchase. The campaign coincides with Cash for Kids Day, the charity’s largest annual fundraising event.
Lynda Young, General Manager at Station Garage Torphins, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting Cash for Kids. It’s such a fantastic cause, and helping children and families across our region is something that truly matters to us.
“This initiative makes it easy for our customers to get involved – by simply purchasing a vehicle and mentioning the campaign, they’re directly contributing to something meaningful. We’re hopeful we can raise significant funds and make a real difference.”
In 2025 alone, Cash for Kids North East Scotland supported more than 20,000 local children.
Cash for Kids works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people affected by poverty, illness, neglect or additional needs.
Jamie Smith, Charity Manager for Cash for Kids North East Scotland, said: “We are very grateful for the support of Station Garage Torphins. This initiative is a brilliant example of how a local business can have a real impact in its community.
“Cash for Kids Day is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and support from partners like Station Garage Torphins allows us to continue helping thousands of children and families across the region.”
