Mad Devs has enhanced its Connect customer portal to enable dealers to present F&I products at the point of deal completion, as data show 82% of buyers now complete their purchase journey through the platform.
Dealers can offer finance and insurance add-ons at the deal completion stage, rather than relying on face-to-face presentations in the finance office.
Daniel Rea, sales director at Mad Devs, said: “We are constantly working with thousands of customers to ensure the platform evolves to find new ways of driving profitability.
“The enhancement to the deal completion stage is a direct response to what the data is telling us about where revenue opportunities are being missed.”
Products available through the enhanced portal include GAP insurance and paint protection.
GAP insurance represents one of the higher-margin F&I products available to dealers, with an average fee of around £200 per policy and commissions that have historically approached 70% of the policy cost.
The Connect platform allows compliance procedures to be built into the deal process, providing 100% compliance with a digital record.
Mad Devs said dealers who have not yet activated the additional products functionality are foregoing upsell opportunities on the majority of their transactions.
