Eastern Western accelerates community approach to recruitment

Eastern Western Motor Group is adopting more sustainable and community based approaches to recruiting staff for the dealer group. The latest gambit is a link with Boroughmuir Rugby & Community Sports Club.

“We are always looking for new talent at EWMG. Some of our talent already works for EWMG and we set about developing their confidence and skills, to equip them for more senior roles, said Keith Duncan, group managing director at EWMG.

But we still need brand new talent we can either develop from scratch or build on a great base of transferable skills.

“We try to avoid the frankly amateurish and ultimately self-defeating tactic of poaching staff, preferring a more sustainable approach.

“Heres a great example of that with our BMW & MINI Franchise Director, Victoria Steel, partnering the excellent Boroughmuir Rugby & Community Sports Club in a drive to recruit from their talent pool.

“An excellent community-minded approach to sustainable recruitment,” he posted on LinkedIn.
