Automotive charity Ben is launching two new training courses, Women’s Health Awareness and Menopause Awareness.
This includes insights into health challenges relating to women’s health, and an introductory course to help people of all genders understand what menopause is.
Julie Hayes, Specialist Services Lead at Ben, said: “Supporting the health and wellbeing of automotive people has always been at the heart of our mission, and the launch of our women’s health and menopause course reflects that commitment.
“These courses are there to provide the tools and resources to improve women’s health and wellbeing across the industry. We know that when employees feel understood, supported and valued, they’re more confident, more connected and able to bring their best selves to work.
“Our courses give individuals, managers and teams the tools they need to recognise challenges, have supportive conversations about women’s health and create a more inclusive workplace culture.”
The Women’s Health Awareness Strategies course will help develop skills, confidence and resilience and support with better managing women’s health.
The Menopause Awareness course will help to recognise the signs and symptoms of someone that may be affected by menopause and help individuals understand how menopause can affect individuals at work and what practical support may be needed.
Both courses are available either face-to-face or virtually, giving employers flexibility, regardless of location or shift patterns.
