JCT600 has opened a Škoda and Volkswagen dealership in Doncaster. The brands will initially be based at JCT600’s current Audi Doncaster site on Wheatley Hall Road, with plans to relocate to new dedicated local dealerships in the coming months.
JCT600 is effectively filling the slot left vacant by Hayselden which went into administration in December.
Škoda is the 19th automotive brand to join JCT600’s brand portfolio and Volkswagen Doncaster will be the retailer’s 10th Volkswagen dealership.
JCT600 executive chairman, John Tordoff, said: “We’re incredibly proud to strengthen our long-standing partnership with the Volkswagen Group through the opening of Volkswagen and our first Škoda dealership in Doncaster.
“With this expansion, we now operate 10 Volkswagen sites across the wider region, which is a testament to the trust and collaboration between our businesses.
“Together with the recent refurbishment of Mercedes-Benz Doncaster, and the addition of the Changan brand, these investments reflect our continued commitment to the Doncaster area and to providing customers with an outstanding choice of brands and experiences.”
Škoda and Volkswagen Doncaster will join the more than 50 JCT600 dealerships located across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and the North East that are operated by the family-owned business.
JCT600 is ranked 13 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £1.4bn.
