Smart Repairs is aiming to increase turnover by 10% this year to hit £12m as it expands it business into the Republic of Ireland.
Smart Repairs was established in 1995 by Dan Besau. The Leeds-based group has a nationwide fleet of mobile workshop vans offering mobile alloy wheel refurbishment, mobile paintless dent repairs, mobile smart repairs, mobile end-of-lease repairs and mobile vehicle interior repairs.
Managing director Darryl Short attributed this growth to sustained efforts over the past six years to disrupt the fragmented cosmetic vehicle repair sector.
“For the past six years we have achieved sustained growth across the UK, disrupting the fragmented cosmetic vehicle repair sector. Currently we carry out an average of 1,000 vehicle repairs a day.”
Smart Repairs’ entry into the Republic of Ireland has been supported by a series of new agreements with both dealerships and insurance companies.
Smart Repairs has invested £1m in new vans and equipment. Over the last two years, the company has diversified its customer base to include fleet management companies, while also increasing its services on commercial and heavy goods vehicles.
