Independent garage electric repair scheme widens to include bodyshops

A new programme has been launched to improve and make more efficient crash and body repairs carried out on EVs and promote high standards.

The Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance (HEVRA) for independent garages  is now including bodyshops in its membership.

It said bodyshops need the right knowledge, tools, and support to manage repairs effectively.

Membership Benefits Include technical support, access to repair guides, access to the Hevra portal, branding and certification and access to test and repaor plas and specialist tols.

Craig Scragg, Technical Services Manager, HEVRA says “Members benefit from a network of like-minded professionals committed to delivering high-quality service.

The collaborative nature of the network fosters referrals and recommendations, further strengthening the credibility of bodyshops under the HEVRA banner and providing hands-on support and resources to help bodyshops build their reputation as EV specialists.”
