Carwow named Audi marque with greatest profit potential in Q4 2024

Carwow has named Audi as the Marque with the greatest profit potential among cars sold via its daily online auctions in Q4 2024.

The 324 used Audi models sold had an average profit potential of £3,000, ahead of Lexus at £2,848 and Mazda at £2,823.

Cupra (£2,753) followed the top three. In fifth position was Jeep (£2,707), followed by Volvo (£2,705), Nissan (£2,654), Mercedes-Benz (£2,646), Land Rover (£2,624), and Jaguar (£2,530).

A 2019 Porsche 911 topped the rankings with a margin of £4,992. Second was a 2022 Ford Ranger with a potential profit of £3,700 (the first time that an LCV has featured in Carwow’s top 10 ranking of most profitable models).

Third place was occupied by a 2017 Audi Q5 (£3,527), followed by a 2021 Volkswagen Golf R (£3,473) and a 2022 Range Rover Sport (3,453).

In sixth position was a 2021 Volvo XC90 (£3,420), followed by a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC (£3,380), a 2018 Ford Mustang (£3,370), a 2021 Audi TT (£3,334), and a 2019 Audi Q3 Sportback (£3,270).

Sally Foote, Carwow’s CCO – Sell My Car, said: “Our quarterly analysis reflects strong and sustained patterns of demand across the wider used market both for volume and premium brands, as well as illustrating the diversity of stock available on our platform.
