Alfa Romeo is adding a second special series across its three-vehicle lineup for the 2025 model year.
After announcing the Tributo Italiano special series in late 2023, Alfa Romeo announced the follow-up series, dubbed Intensa, at the 2025 Brussels auto show. Like the Tributo Italiano series, the Intensa series brings unique cosmetic touches to the Stelvio and Tonale crossovers, as well as the Giulia sedan.
2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale Intensa (European spec)
Regardless of which model it’s specified on, the Intensa treatment includes darkened exhaust tips, black brake calipers with gold “Alfa Romeo” lettering, and black 20-inch wheels with a gold-trimmed machined finish. Three exterior colors are available: Alfa Black, Alfa Rosso, and Verde Montreal on the Tonale, and Rosso Etna, Verde Fangio, and Vulcano Black on the Giulia and Stelvio.
The special series also includes black-and-tan two-tone interior treatment, with an Alcantara-wrapped dashboard and seats in the Tonale and leather upholstery in the Giulia and Stelvio. The latter two also get aluminum pedals and paddle shifters.
2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Intensa (European spec)
The Intensa, along with the Tributo Italiano, which also reaches the U.S. for the 2025 model year, represents Alfa Romeo’s new strategy of emphasizing special series and option packages over trim levels. The Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale are all available in a single trim level for 2025, but the two special series and multiple option packages for each model mean individual vehicles can still be equipped quite differently.
Intensa-series models are available to order now. Tonale versions cost $46,490 with non-hybrid and $56,490 with plug-in hybrid powertrains, while Giulia and Stelvio versions cost $51,990 and $57,390, respectively (all prices include a $1,995 destination charge). All versions are available to order now.
