An updated version of the Genesis GV60 electric SUV has arrived with subtle styling changes.

Genesis revealed the updated GV60 in its home market of South Korea Monday. Sales are expected to begin in that country later this quarter, and while a U.S. launch date wasn’t discussed, this version of the GV60 is expected reach this market as a 2026 model.

First spotted testing last summer, this marks the first styling update for the GV60 since its 2023-model-year debut. But there aren’t many changed to report. The front fascia receives small alterations, the headlights adopt new internals with smaller LED elements, and new five-spoke 21-inch wheels will be available.  More exterior trim—including the wheel arch cladding and lower rear fascia—is now body color as well.

Inside, the refreshed GV60 features a 27-inch display with the same rectangular shape as before, but that eliminates the bezel between the instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. Other elements, such as the crystal-orb shifter, carry over.

A more significant change will likely come in the form of an 84-kwh battery pack replacing the 77.4-kwh pack in dual-motor all-wheel drive models and the 77.0-kwh pack in single-motor rear-wheel drive models. That change has already been implemented in the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, which share the GV60’s E-GMP platform. It could boost range beyond the current 294-mile maximum, which applies to rear-drive versions.

The outgoing GV60 is available in 225-hp rear-wheel drive form and 314-hp or 429 hp all-wheel drive forms. Though it’s yet to be announced, Genesis is also expected to add a GV60 Magma as the first model in a new performance sub-brand taking on BMW M and Mercedes-AMG. The GV60 Magma will likely draw design elements from a 2024 concept version and hardware from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, but with a different soundtrack to differentiate it from its platform-mate.
