Omoda and Jaecoo have signed a sponsorship deal with the European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) Championship.
Omoda is promoting the Omoda 5, which features a 187 bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine.
Inside, the car features two 10.25” high-resolution screens, multi-colour interior lighting, wireless phone charging and a full suite of ADAS safety technologies. The vehicle is priced from just £25,235.
Available from £33,055, the all-electric Omoda E5 is powered by a 150 kW (204 bhp) electric motor and a 61 kWh ‘blade’ battery.
The E5 is said to offer a WLTP range of 257 miles. The electric crossover SUV can charge up to 80 kW, with a 30% to 80% top-up possible in a claimed 28 minutes.
Last month, pricing was announced for the Jaecoo 7, a premium SUV that will come with a choice of petrol or Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains, priced from £29,435 and £35,065, respectively.
With a 60-litre fuel tank, the Jarcoo 7 PHEV has a claimed range of 745 miles and a fuel economy figure of 403 mpg (WLTP).
Two- and four-wheel drive configurations are available. Order books are now open for the JAECOO 7, with UK deliveries commencing in January.
