- A revised interior design is coming to the C8 Corvette lineup
- The controversial divider wall topped with buttons will disappear
- The revised interior is expected to be introduced alongside a new Corvette Zora flagship
Chevrolet engineers are out testing prototypes for various Corvette models featuring a revised interior design expected to be introduced soon.
Our latest spy shots capture a Corvette Z06 prototype with the new interior design, spotted testing alongside several prototypes of what is believed to be the new flagship model—the Corvette Zora.
The updated interior is distinguished by the absence of the rising strip of buttons in the center console, which in the current models acts as a divider between the driver and passenger. Additionally, some of the thick covering over the digital instrument cluster has been reduced, helping to tone down the current exaggerated dashboard.
Other changes are harder to spot, but some existing controls may have been redesigned or repositioned. The current 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display appears to remain, though it now features a new backing element.

Both the revised interior and the Zora are expected to debut for the 2026 model year as part of a mid-cycle refresh for the C8 Corvette, which first launched for the 2020 model year in base Corvette Stingray form.
It remains unclear whether any mechanical updates are planned for existing Corvette models as part of this refresh. However, some enhancements developed for the Zora could potentially be introduced across the lineup.
Named after Zora Arkus-Duntov—the engineer largely responsible for putting a V-8 in the original ‘Vette—the Zora is expected to feature the Corvette ZR1’s twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 in the rear, paired with the Corvette E-Ray hybrid’s electric motor up front. Individually, these power sources produce 1,064 hp and 160 hp, respectively, meaning the Zora could boast a combined output exceeding 1,200 hp.
Expect the first of the updated Corvettes to debut late this year or early next.
