The group, which represents Volvo, Polestar, Kia and MG across the Thames Valley, has announced a new partnership with MOBA, which offers the health check service.

Jon Head, integrations director at Waylands, said: “We recognise the increasing consumer demand for transparency around battery health as the transition to EV gathers pace.

“After a robust review of the battery health check platforms in the market, we were pleased to partner with MOBA to provide our sales team with this invaluable tool.

“The speed at which we can now produce individual battery health assessments will not only build trust with our customers but also give our sales teams absolute confidence in the products that we retail.”

The MOBA platform will be used to support used car marketing and will also form part of part exchange appraisals.

Alex Johns, MOBA new business development partner in the UK, said “MOBA is delighted to partner with Waylands to provide all of its Electric Vehicle and Plug-in Hybrid battery diagnoses. MOBA’s mission is to facilitate the use of electric vehicles and preserve the health of their batteries.”

He said, “It is forward-thinking partners such as Waylands who make that a day-to-day reality.

“Each test certificate provides clear and concise battery health information which offers used EV buyers the confidence to know that the EV they are considering will have the range and longevity they are seeking.”
