VRA bolsters board with three director appointments

The Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) has appointed three new directors to its board.

Keron Hurlstone is business development manager at automotive website and media group mtc. She has worked in the past with G3, iVendi, RAC and EurotaxGlass’s.

Chris Plumb is head of current car valuations at cap hpi where he has worked since 2009, having previously held remarketing and fleet roles at Vauxhall and General Motors.

And Melissa Seckington is head of corporate sales at Wilsons Auctions and has worked in the past with SMA Vehicle Remarketing for 15 years.

Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said that the industry body was continuing to expand, now numbering more than 60 businesses, and had recently created a  partnership with CARA, the Car Remarketing Association of Europe.

“These three new appointments have been partially made to replace board directors who have stood down and also to help handle the extra workload that is being created by the growth of our organisation.

“We’d like to thanks to Derren Martin and Jayson Whittington for their contributions to the board over several years and are very pleased to see that both will remain involved in the VRA as members.
