Mark Goode, General Manager of Vertu Toyota Loughborough, has marked 25 years of service with the company.
He began his journey in 2000, joining a newly appointed team running a brand-new start-up business in Boston, Lincolnshire representing Honda.
Mark Goode, General Manager at Vertu Toyota Loughborough said: “When I started a quarter of a century ago, the business looked very different both in name and in scale.
“Vertu now has nearly 200 dealerships under a single name, so we’re part of something much bigger, but what’s remained constant is the drive to do things the right way.”
Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the culture and performance of the dealerships, earning a reputation for his leadership skills and a deep commitment to both his team and customer service.
He added: “I’ve had the chance to work with some brilliant people, and it’s been rewarding to see how far we’ve come in terms of the business and the colleague development. Things are a lot different than when I started in the motor retail. Electric cars are now a key part of the business, something I would never have thought possible 25 years ago.
“I’ve been very lucky to be in a business that rewards hard work and dedication and have been supported to learn new skills which has allowed me to progress up to running a number of dealerships in the group over the years and right now I am very proud leading the team in state-of-the-art facilities at Vertu Toyota Loughborough.”
Mark was presented with a certificate by his Group Operations Director Chris Taylor.
Taylor said: “Mark’s contribution over the past 25 years has been exceptional. He is someone who brings positive energy and consistency to everything he does, with a true care and focus on customer relationships.
“His ability to lead with integrity has made a lasting impact on the colleagues he’s supported and developed over his career so far. We are all very proud to have him on our team at Vertu.”
