Ron Brooks Motor Group has added Xpengto its portfolio and will represent the brand at its Derby Pentagon Island Site.
The site will be developed further to accommodate XPENG and will open officially on 1 September, joining three other brands at the dealership.
Purely EV in terms of present product, Xpeng is seen as a world leader in the development of smart mobility defined by integrated Internet and AI.
The brands technological advancement has attracted various global partnerships.
VW recently invested over $700m in Xpeng in order for a 5% stake. Xpeng will jointly develop some of VWs future intelligent connected vehicles
Debuting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2024, the G6 caught attention. Now, the G6 will be showcased at the Derbyshire County Show.
XPENG also has divisions in robotics, urban air mobility and Robotaxi.
In February, the brand announced plans to have 20 dealerships in the UK by year-end. The company has teamed up with distributor International Motors to drive UK sales.
Xpeng began its European expansion entering Norway in 2021 and then expanded into Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and now the UK.
