Swedish electric performance brand Polestar has opened a new retail space in Plymouth.
In January it announced that it is expanding its network of dealerships called spaces from 70 to 130 In Europe and from 36 to 57 in North America.
Last month Waylands Automotive has increased its representation with Polestar taking on the Chinese brand in Bicester.
Matt Galvin, managing director of Polestar UK said: “We’re excited to bring Polestar to Plymouth and make our cars even more accessible across the South West.
“This opening supports our ambition to meet customers where they are, offering a seamless and informed experience from test drive to online order.”

Galvin was appointed managing director in July last year. He has 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.
With senior roles in Mercedes-Benz UK, Volvo UK, Nio UK, and a Polestar global sales role, he has split his career 50/50 between OEM work and time as a dealer.
