Omoda and Jaecoo is expanding in the UK with the launch of all electric and hybrid models.
The Chinese carmaker showed their New Energy Vehicle (NEV) line up, the Jaecoo 5 BEV and Omoda 7 Super Hybrid System (SHS) at the Shanghai Motor Show.
For the UK market, the Omoda 9 SHS will be with customers in June of this year while the Omoda7 and Jaecoo 5 are expected to be delivered in August.
Over the past two years, the Chinese brands have entered 42 countries and regions, established over 1,300 global showrooms.
The Jaecoo 5 BEV offers an estimated driving range of around 250 miles on a single charge.
The OMODA 7 SHS, equipped with an advanced Super Hybrid System (SHS), combines a 1.5TGDI hybrid engine with a dedicated hybrid transmission.
This setup enables a combined range of approximately 745 miles, aiming to balance high thermal efficiency with robust performance.
