NK Motors is investing more than £1m in its Chilwell showroom to allow for an expansion which will double the size of the dealership.
Work on the dealership, located at Eldon Road Business Park, will be completed by the end of the year.

“The Kia brand has really rocketed to the attention of discerning car buyers in recent years, who not only recognise the exceptional quality of manufacture and seven-year warrantees, they also love the incredible styling of its new ranges.
“We are delighted to be one of the few dealerships selected to be an official Kia van centre, and we expect our revamp at Chilwell will prove extremely popular with van buyers too.”
The showroom will increase indoor viewing options for customers, offer a wider range of vehicles, and create more display space for used cars.
NK Motors’ Chilwell showroom was last month announced by Kia as one of just 60 across the UK licenced to sell its new range of electric vans.
The expansion includes a new dedicated van centre and major upgrades to the old bodyshop.
Kumar added: “Nindy (father of Sanj) realised from the outset that, at two acres, the Chilwell site was perfect for future expansion. His vision has certainly become a reality during the intervening years.
“The current expansion, which sees the footprint of the showroom more than double in size, is the icing on the cake.
“It reinforces NK Motors’ genuine commitment to the local community – by creating jobs, repurposing buildings and providing a greater selection of new and used vehicles.”
