Nissan GB appoints new MD and new aftersales director

Nissan GB has appointed Diana Torres as MD while Nicolas Belaud has been appointed as aftersales director, effective from 1 April.

Torres will be based at Nissan’s Maple Cross head office in Rickmansworth and report to Mayra Gonzáles, divisional vice president marketing & sales Europe. She succeeds Andrew Humberstone who will move to Oceania region from 1 April, as managing director Nissan Oceania.

Torres has been with Nissan for over ten years, roles include leading marketing and sales finance in Nissan North America, CFO of Nissan Mexicana, and MD of Nissan importer business in Latin America.

Nicolas Belaud led the aftersales division of Nissan Motors Thailand. Now, he succeeds Chris Marsh who has been appointed as director, aftersales importers and services repairs for the AMIEO region.

Torres said: “I am thrilled to be back in the UK where my career with Nissan started 12 years ago. I look forward to leading a highly capable team who – together with our valued dealer partners – have delivered fantastic results in recent years.
