Mon Motors has strengthened its senior management team with two director appointments. Steve Dean and James Robinson-Wyatt have joined as Group Operations Director and Group Finance & Commercial Director respectively.

Dean and Robinson-Wyatt bring a combined 67 years’ motor industry experience to the business.

Dean said: “The sector is evolving faster than ever and, whilst it’s not a place for the faint-hearted, it does present some incredible opportunities and I’m looking forward to supporting and empowering my new colleagues to strengthen the business but also develop them on their career paths.

“Mon Motors is a company with family values very much at its core. Not becoming a number, or driven only by profit and loss, makes Mon Motors an opportunity to invest in long-term strategies.”

The new appointments will oversee the aim of a return to profit in 2026.

Robinson-Wyatt said: “I am excited to become part of the Mon Motors family and to be able to work alongside our MD Gavin Cleverly and Steve, two highly respected individuals within the automotive industry.

“My immediate priorities are to accelerate the final steps in the integration following the recent acquisition, support the Group in returning to profitability and driving positive cash flow, and work with the leadership team to strengthen financial processes that enable sustainable growth.”

Gavin Cleverly, Mon Motors’ Managing Director, said: “Steve and James are vastly experienced, bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Mon Motors and share our vision for continued growth so we’re thrilled to welcome them to our leadership team.

“Our recent acquisition complements and bolsters our established dealership network and together with the ever-evolving EV and retail landscape presents significant opportunities for us as a group.

“The future for Mon Motors looks extremely positive and I’m delighted that Steve and James recognise that and are as enthused as I am about the road ahead.”
