A new wholesale car aggregation platform Auca is set to launch in July for dealers to source stock.
Auca promises to offer more than 10,000 used cars, LCVs, trucks, motorcycles and classic cars from multiple auctions and wholesale platforms to bid on and buy on the site from launch.
The public facing team behind the platform is CEO Lisa Grimsley, who has 30 years of remarketing experience with Manheim and senior management roles at Aston Barclay and BCA Marketplace.
Also on board is Michael Buxton (pictured) responsibility for strategic and financial planning. He spent 25 years at Cox Automotive as CFO and CEO of its UK operations.
And Jamie Newman has joined Auca as its client services director from Aston Barclay where he served as a general manager and auctioneer.
According to Companies House, James Tomlinson, the managing director of Motor Auctions Group, is listed as a director of the company.
“The motor trade has always been time poor when it comes to sourcing wholesale stock from an ever-growing number of physical and online providers,” said Grimsley.
“Based on these known challenges we have pulled all the stock and key tasks into one place which will make a dealer’s life much easier, and after 12 months of development the Auca platform is close to launch.
“We have had some incredibly positive feedback during our pilot launch phase from professional used car buyers.
“Auca spells good news for both buyers and sellers, and we are pleased to announce an experienced team to make it a big success,” Lisa added.
Vendors and buyers are invited for an early demonstration of the functionality of the new Auca platform at www.auca.com.
